About Us - Association of OGB Officers

We are affiliated to AIRRBEA / NFRRBO since inception. Out of total 1256 officers in OGB, our strength is more than 700. It is highly encouraging that most of young officers in the Bank prefer to join AOGBO. By choosing to join this association you, the youngsters have made the best choice. You are now in the majority association that safeguards better staff interest, privilege, posting etc. we have been strictly following all the calls and programmes of our central unit and are representing all the forums of trade union when called for. We have holding central committee meetings,zonal meetings & executive body meetings at regular intervals. We have also given and got moral support from our brother associations / unions on burning issues. Our young members have been making all our strike programmes very successful. We have been meeting with authorities for redressal of staff issues, any harsh actions meted out to our members.
By and large, our relation with present management is cordial, constructive and peaceful.

Our demands:
Though we have achieved a number of benefits by negotiating with management during the year, still a good number of issues remain unsettled. These are:-
1. Payment of gratuity from 2016 as with Central Govt. employees and not from 2017. Also, calculation should be made taking DA with BP for officers.
2. Recogonization of our Association.
3. FPP / Computer increment to all.
4. Lowering of staff HBL / DPN CC interest.
5. Reimbursement of fuel expenses at par with sponsor bank.
6. All type of loans / CC to staff at par with sponsor bank.
7. Introduction of compassionate appointment at par with sponsor bank in lieu of Ex-gratia with retrospective effect.
8. Release of Superannuation on the date of retirement.
9. No interest in DPN CC from the day of retirement.
10. Promotion Scale V cadre.
11. Imparting proper prior training to youngsters who are posted as branch manager. Trainers should be fairly, not arbitrarily selected, that too with comprehensive branch exposure.
12. Internet Banking.
